Your own cabin at Chamma Ling

Four standalone cabins on a piñon-covered hillside above Crestone. Each guest has one to themselves. Nobody shares a dark room.

Standard cabins

$1,600 at the Base rate, $2,000 Supporter, $2,500 Sponsor.

The smaller cabins: a bedroom with a single bed, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom are fully darkened for your retreat, with blackout curtains and a lightproof ventilation fan.

Premium cabin

The larger cabin, with a bigger floor plan. The same darkness, meals and support as the Standard cabins.

In every cabin

What's there

Bed, linens and towels
Meditation cushion, yoga mat and a small shrine
Passive solar heating plus baseboard heaters you control
Kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, kettle and basic cookware
Lightproof ventilation grill and fan, shown to you at orientation
Wi-Fi and generally good cell reception, for before and after your time in the dark

The land

High desert, big sky

Chamma Ling sits on the western slope of the Sangre de Cristo range, looking out over the San Luis Valley.

Getting here

Crestone, Colorado

Most guests fly into Denver, Colorado Springs or Alamosa, rent a car and drive. Park in the gravel lot near the road; a short path leads to your cabin.

Bears are active in the area. Please don't leave food in your vehicle.

The exact address and arrival instructions are sent once your cabin is reserved.
